Figure Skating: Figure Skating Academy

The Ice Den Figure Skating Academy is geared towards the skater who wishes to compete for fun where team spirit and team participation are the primary objectives. Academy members will travel to competitions in the area to compete as individuals and as a team. The annual membership fee is $40 per skater, which includes free academy skate sessions, skating specific seminars, newsletters, the ability to purchase Academy merchandise and an exclusive opportunity to enroll in the Academy Class. Academy members also receive the exclusive opportunity to purchase a series of Freestyle Sessions during our “Semi-annual Sales”. Travel and competition fees are not included.

Academy Class
This recreational program is designed for Academy members who skate at the Beta level and above. The class offers more advanced instruction in figure skating elements and in how to compete at a figure skating competition. Several instructors coach skaters as they move from station to station.
