The National Basketball Academy, is the official youth basketball program provider for
MVP Sports Clubs (RDV Sportsplex),
the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavilers.
This is the most comprehensive program available to the junior, middle school and high school players and teams. The Instructional Series maintains a strong focus on building fundamental skills in the player and maintaining a vision for advancement in skills and respect for the game. Intended for those players who seek to become better acquainted with the sport of basketball and who intend to play for their school teams, CYO, AAU or other scholastic leagues. All lessons are one hour in length and taught by a tNBA certified trainer.

Hoop Zone Clinic - Grades 4-9
This seven week long program is designed to help players learn and develop different basketball skills. Classes are one day per week with focuses on the fundamentals of shooting mechanics, ball handling skills, defense, and offensive movements, passing, and basketball fitness. Working with tNBA coaches to help improve skill level and prepare for upcoming leagues and
school seasons.

Skills Challenge- Ages 8-15
This event will challenge each individualís skills to rank amongst peers in your age group. The top 10 advance to finals with trophies go to the top three finishers. Skill focus will be on ball handling, lay-ups, shooting, passing, and agility. Come and see where you rank amongst other players of your age. All participants receive a competition T-shirt. Top score in each division will receive an Orlando Magic game ticket.

Jr. Magic Basketball League
1st-2nd Grade • 3rd-4th Grade • 5th-6th Grade • 7th-8th Grade
Jr. Magic Basketball League is designed for boys & girls in grades 1st-8th. Games are primarily held on Saturdays, other days may be used if necessary. The season includes six regular season games, and all teams are guaranteed at least one playoff game. Players in grades 1-4 have one referee per game, and grades 5-8 have two referees per game. Each team will have an opportunity to practice for one hour on Sundays at RDV Sportsplex. All participants receive an official Jr. Magic jersey.There are a maximum of 10 players per team. Full pre-formed teams may register. Individually registered children will be placed on a team. This is a parent/volunteer-coached league. Youth House Basketball League
This league for grades 9-12 will run for six weeks and focus on development, organization and fun. This is a parent/volunteer coached league. Games will be played on the basketball courts with an official, scoreboard and clock. Team practices will be held weekly prior to the games to enhance team chemistry, instruction and development. Game t-shirts will be provided. Games will be played Monday through Saturday.

STARS House Basketball League - Grades 9-12
This league is for boy and girl high-school teams to help prepare and develop their skills for the upcoming season. High-school coaches may coach his or her team (FHSSA rules governing offseason coaching has changed effective July 15, 2006). The league will run for six weeks and games will be played on the basketball courts with an official, scoreboard and clock provided. Games may be played Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday. Teams must provide their own uniforms and no high school game uniforms are allowed.

Summer Basketball Camp | Ages 7-14
This physical camp allows your child to work with a basketball specialist in station drills on offensive and defensive skills. Camp also includes on-court fitness training, stretching and nutrition information and injury prevention. Campers should bring a swimsuit. (Campers must turn seven by January 1, 2008.)

Summer High School Basketball Camp | Grades 9-12
This physical camp allows your child to work with a basketball specialist in station drills on offensive and defensive skills. Camp also includes on-court fitness training, stretching, nutrition information and injury prevention. Teaching and reinforcing fundamentals, drilling of new skills and concepts, and developing good basketball habits are essential to maturing the talents, which help players reach their goals. This camp is designed to improve overall ability to easily string together complex game skills.
