QuickStart Tennis Camp / Ages 6-10

QuickStart Tennis play takes a new and better approach to introducing kids to the game.  QuickStart Camp is designed to introduce the game and rules of tennis and develop basic skills through play.  Equipment is geared toward children such as low-compression balls that bounce lower and don’t move as fast, smaller courts that are easier to cover and smaller racquets that fit children better.  Players will develop controlled movements including running, jumping, hopping, body control, posture, and balance. Campers will learn and use basic strokes with simple grips and swing patterns. Players will work toward building a rally over variable distances with a partner, developing a serving motion, and understanding game concepts like in and out and learn how to keep score.
